Michael Lazar Joins GemStone Systems as Solutions Architect for the Federal Government Industry

Beaverton, Ore.- May 8, 2003 - GemStone Systems Inc., announced today that Michael Lazar has joined the company as Solutions Architect. Lazar will leverage his extensive knowledge of technology solutions and experience in the Federal Government industry to accelerate GemStone's growth in this vertical market.

Lazar brings to GemStone 19 years of technology experience that’s been primarily focused in the Federal Government sector. In 1984, he joined the NSA as a Computer Systems Analyst. He went onto work at BTG, Sybase and Commerce One, where he brought technology solutions to Federal Government, financial services, aerospace and telecommunications customers. Lazar earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
