Infinite Loop in "Show User Info" with insufficient authorization
If you view user information using the menu pick sequence
Admin Tools -> Browse GemStone Users -> Show User Info from VisualAge
System Transcript, but lack sufficient privileges to view the selected
user, the system issues a notifier informing you that "You do not have
authority to view" the selected user.
After selecting the OK button to dismiss the notifier, the notifier keeps
returning.
Workaround:
Break out of the loop by first selecting the VA "User Break" button and
then selecting the OK button in the authorization error window.
